Pixieland offers admissions for two main terms each year: Spring (January – June) and Fall (July – December). We also offer a short Summer term (June – July) for short-term students visiting during the summer or for children waiting to join the Fall term. Currently, we are accepting enrollments on a rolling basis for the Spring term.

Our admissions process is structured to provide families with a comprehensive understanding of our school and to ensure a smooth transition for each child. The process includes the following steps:

1. Initial Phone Call
   The process begins with a phone call with a member of our admissions team. During this conversation, we collect preliminary information about your child and provide an overview of our programs, philosophy, and the unique learning environment Pixieland offers.
    

2. School Tour, Assessment, and Enrollment Form
   Families are invited for a campus tour and meeting with the admissions team. During the tour, parents explore the facilities while each child is paired with a School Mom who helps them feel comfortable in the school environment. At this time, our team also conducts an assessment to ensure the child is ready to begin preschool. Parents meet with the Head of Admissions to discuss the curriculum, teaching approach, and address any questions. Following the tour and assessment, if the family decides to enroll and Pixieland is accepting the child, the enrollment form is completed to secure the child’s place in the program.
    

3. Trial Week
   Before fully starting, each child may participate in a Trial Week, a four-day program designed to support a smooth transition into school life. The Trial Week may start either on a Sunday and end on Wednesday, or start on a Monday and end on Thursday. On the first day, the child attends with one parent for one hour. From day two, the child’s hours may be gradually extended, while the parent’s time is restricted to one hour, as guided by the child’s School Mom or teacher in charge. Payments for the program are made only at the end of the Trial Week if the family is satisfied with the experience. The Trial Week allows both child and parents to experience a typical day at Pixieland and ensures the child is comfortable in the school environment.
